Today, Sunday morning, under cloudy damp skies, John Cerri and I saw . . .
Five deer, a coyote, a bluebird, two swans flying overhead, three osprey, a thousand million Canada geese, mocking birds,
kestrels, seven turkeys, a red tailed hawk, black throated sparrows, tree swallows, red wing blackbirds baked in a pie,
chickadees, titmice, sparrows, crows, purple martins, gadwell ducks, mallards, beautiful wood ducks, squirrels,
starlings, blue jays and a couple of downy woodpeckers.
We saw all this in only two hours.
